Types of Bets at 9sap

Understanding your betting options helps you make more informed decisions. Here's a breakdown of the main bet types available in the 9sap sportsbook.

Match Winner (1X2)

The most straightforward bet type. You pick which team or player wins the match. In football, a draw (X) is also an option. In basketball and other head-to-head sports, it's simply Team 1 or Team 2.

Handicap / Spread Betting

The favourite is given a points deficit to overcome; the underdog gets a head start. This levels the playing field when one team is significantly stronger and tends to produce more balanced odds. Popular in PBA and NBA betting.

Over / Under (Total Goals or Points)

You bet on whether the total score or goals will be above or below a line set by the sportsbook. Doesn't require you to pick a winner — you're just predicting how high-scoring the event will be overall.

Live / In-Play Betting

Odds update in real time while the match is in progress. You can place bets after the game starts, adjusting your position based on how things are going. Available for most major events at 9sap.

Parlay / Accumulator

Combine two or more selections into a single bet. All selections must win for the bet to pay out. The odds multiply across selections, so a correct parlay returns more than individual bets — but one wrong pick loses the whole ticket.

Outright / Tournament Winner

Place a bet on the overall winner of a tournament or competition before it begins. Common for PBA conferences, the NBA title, the EPL, and esports world championships. Usually available well in advance of the event.

Sample Odds Format

Odds at 9sap are displayed in decimal format by default — the number you see represents how much you receive per ₱1 wagered, including your stake. For example, odds of 2.10 on a ₱100 bet returns ₱210 if it wins (₱110 profit).
